BSi Hosts Sketch Work Flow Webinar

Industrial Designer's Society of America - WI Chapter

April 30, 2009
ALLENTON, WI – Brooks Stevens, Inc.’s Industrial Design group recently hosted an IDSA Wisconsin Sketch Work Flow Webinar. Here is what it was all about:

“Okay - you’ve got your fancy tablet and a few 2D visualization programs.  Add some good old-fashioned sketching talent and you’re all set, right?  Ultimately, how you use those tools interactively can have a profound effect on both your productivity and your results.  In this IDSAwi webinar session, designers at Brooks Stevens Inc. will collectively share techniques and tricks they have learned to take advantage of unique tools offered within SketchbookPro, Photoshop, and others.  This is not a tutorial on any one program, but a discussion of organizational techniques and decisions which allow you to quickly arrive at the end result you need.”

The Brooks Stevens team would like to extend an appreciative “thank you” to those who attended our IDSA-WI webinar on April 30th.  The chance to share experiences in a dialog with our peers is an opportunity we enjoyed, and encourage more of you to consider in the future.  Many of us can relate to the design school experience of learning as much about rendering from your classmates as from your instructors.

In addition, we would like to thank IDSA-WI and IDSA-National for their efforts in pulling events such as these together for all of us to benefit from.  It is truly valued by us all.
