The Challenge
Zeus is the “the world’s most advanced marine propulsion system”. Brooks Stevens, Mercury Marine, and Cummins MerCruiser Diesel worked together to deliver the marine industry’s first rear-facing, twin propeller, pod-drive system. Following an aggressive delivery schedule, we were tasked with the design, engineering, and prototyping of the new drive.
The Solution
Brooks Steven's industrial design department provided marketing animations, styled drive covers, and a trade-show display. Our in-house model shop fabricated multiple prototypes of the drive, in addition to building several displays. Our engineering department continues to provide design and analysis support to these clients.
